Die entwickelte Rakete <strong>Rhea<\/strong> (benannt nach einem Saturnmond) verwendete zudem ein gr\u00f6\u00dferes Casing (von 54 mm auf 98 mm Durchmesser) und reduzierte die Systemmasse der Rakete erheblich, wodurch der Treibstoffanteil erh\u00f6ht werden konnte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:0px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Struktur<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Rhea bestand aus 98 mm Glasfaser- und Aluminiumrohren, jeweils ausgesucht f\u00fcr die Transparenz f\u00fcr Funksignale und die strukturelle Integrit\u00e4t. Ziel der Auslegung war Robustheit und schnelle Fertigbarkeit. Rhea verwendete zudem Verbindungsringe mit radial eingesetzten Schrauben f\u00fcr die Vereinfachung der Fertigung (ein Konzept welches durch das sp\u00e4ter folgende <a href=\"https:\/\/er-ig.de\/cms\/unity\/\">UNITY<\/a> Programm weiter verfeinert wurde).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zweistufigkeit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Gegensatz zu ihrem Vorg\u00e4nger wurde Rhea nie zweistufig gebaut, auch wenn Pl\u00e4ne daf\u00fcr existierten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">COTS Solid Rocket Motor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Rhea wurde f\u00fcr die Commerical-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Motoren Pro-98 von Cesaroni entwickelt. Die Motoren wurden zudem als 4 Grains gew\u00e4hlt um Parallelen zu den Backup-Motoren des <a href=\"https:\/\/er-ig.de\/cms\/stern-1\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1750\">STERN<\/a>-Programms aufzubauen (siehe <a href=\"https:\/\/er-ig.de\/cms\/stern-1\/\">STERN 1<\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/er-ig.de\/cms\/stern-2\/\">STERN 2<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Start der Experimentalrakete Rhea<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"ERIG RHEA -  Cesaroni Pro98 rocket\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jpAcctzVRAA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00dcberschallflug<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bei einem Rhea-Start in Polen l\u00f6ste der Fallschirm noch auf der Rampe aus.
